Hello Stormriders,
We are so sorry that we have not posted as regularly as we should be. We were on a 2 week vacation in Korea (which we will post about real soon!) God did some amazing things in our lives while we were there and we will share some of them with you in the weeks to come.
Also, we will be posting more about current events and how what is going on in the world is effecting the Body of Christ. We pray that the Lord has been keeping you healthy, strong and well. And now that we are back and refreshed; it is time to kick some major enemy tail and ride this storm all the way home.

When do you exercise wisdom when it comes to healing?
A while back I heard about these parents from Oregon that had a sick child that died of complications from a congenital urinary tract blockage. The parents, who are Christians, relied on spiritual healing. They anointed their son and granddaughter( who had pneumonia and died in March of 2008) with oil, prayed and laid hands on them.
Today the parents were convicted of criminally negligent homicide of their 16 year old son. This story was of great interest to me. I have a medical condition (nothing life threatening) and I have been asking the Lord for healing. I know that sickness and death was defeated on the cross.
Isaiah 53:5 says, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Healing is also one of the gifts of the spirit,
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit. 1 Cor 12:9
But my question is how does one exercise wisdom when it comes to healing? I am not judging the parents but I do question their decision. While I do believe that the Lord heals we can not force the Lord's hands; moreover, there are bible believing Holy Spirit filled doctors that God can use to heal. Nevertheless, God was in control of the situation. I just pray that the family does not lose faith in the Lord because of the lost of their son and granddaughter. Also, that the church they attend will pray and ask the Lord for wisdom, guidance and understanding from this situation.
I believe in the power of healing and I know that the Lord will heal me; whether it is supernaturally or by him using a doctor to do so. Regardless we should not limit God's hand or will in our lives.
Please pray for the parents, their church and their community while they are going through this trial. Also if you have an ailment of any kind pray to the Lord about it and let His will be done. Remember whatever we go through in life, it is not about us but it is all about bringing God the glory.
